The viewpoints of Tara National Park represent the most attractive places from which this protected area knows and experiences in a special way. Most of them are hidden and difficult to access, but the most beautiful can still be found, but of course only in the oven. There are nine enclosed garden gazebos that are safe and secure for visitors, and the view that shoots is worth a million dollars. The most famous is certainly Banjska stena, but the other eight are no less beautiful.

“Crnjeskovo is a viewpoint in the bare Kaluerske area, not far from the church of the Assembly of Serbian Saints. The Sokolarica watchtower is located on the outskirts of the Sokolina settlement and is a site of several viewpoints. smaller and connected ones located in front of Crnjeskovo and Raanska ljivovica, above the Rae Gorge. the name of the viewpoint does not say that gray eagles nest on these cliffs, “Ranko Milanovi of NP Tara told RINA.

One that also has views of the Drina Valley and neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina is Oslua. The viewpoint is equipped with a fireplace, a wooden canopy with benches and tables, as well as information boards. These are the flights for paragliders. Fans should know that the most easily accessible viewpoint is the Lazii Dam, which is located at the dam of the same name on Lake Zaovina.

“It can be reached by car, on a paved road and is about 7 km from Mitrovica. From here, the view extends to the small lake Spajii and the villages of Lazii, Spajii and Popovii and the peaks of Zborita and Gavran. This place is considered to be the place where Pani fir was discovered: its trees can be seen to the right of Lake Spajii on the slopes of Mount Kik and are protected in the “Vranjak” reserve, he says. Milanovi.

One of the highest peaks in Tara National Park is Janja and is without a doubt one of the most beautiful viewpoints, although it is not as well known among visitors. It is located in Zaovine, above Gornji Karaklije, on the border between Serbia and Republika Srpska (BiH). It can be reached by a well-kept path through the village of Karaklije.

“From this summit there is a magnificent panoramic view of the Zaovina area, the Tara massif, Crni vrh and Velik Stolac. When the weather is good, you can see Viegrad from here and the wilted Drina, Mehmed “Father Sokolovia, who described Nobel laureate Ivo Andri in his novel, and here you can see the remains of trenches from the First World War,” says Ranko.

Sjeni is located in Crni Vrh, 5.5 km from Predovo krst towards Zaovine and only 100 m from the forest road. This town is dominated by a 12 m high wooden observation deck and, from the viewpoint, you can see the Tara massif, the village of Rastite, the Derventa gorge and Lake Peruac. About a hundred years ago, this route was the route of the forest gorge by which the sown material was tied to the Drina and later transported by ponds.

If you go up to Biljeka stena, you will be able to see thin spindle-shaped firs, a unique species of spruce that only grows in the center of Podrinje. However, due to severe climate change, many trees have been drained. From Biljeka stena there is a view of the steep cliffs of the Drina canyon and Lake Peruac. In Bosnia you can see the remains of the medieval fortress Klotijevac and the Drina National Park. In addition to the furniture for excursions, there is also a house where the film “Birds That Don’t Fly” was shot, with Bat ivojinov in the lead role.
