In order to alleviate the 48-hour quarantine required by all visitors arriving by plane in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Palm Island Station has decided to purchase its own PCR testing machine.
“While this was a major investment, it was necessary to foster a flawless travel experience for our guests,” said resort owner James Lane.
Guests traveling to Palm Island usually arrive at Union Island around 5pm with a short flight from Barbados.
They are being tested just before five minutes by boat to Palm Island. Upon arrival, they will dine in their rooms and the quarantine should be withdrawn the next morning, as long as the test results are negative.
If the guest is positive for kovid 19, he must be quarantined for 14 days.
Guests who choose not to participate in PCR testing must be quarantined for two days.
The island’s private complex will only allow this transfer to visitors over the age of 16 who have vaccination tests.
Travelers returning to the United States can also use PCR tests for their trip home and the cost of the tests is $ 125 per person.
